From 'Light Language' to Praying in Tongues
Liz has the gift of speaking in tongues from God. She previously spoke "light language" as a New Age practice, but since giving her life to Christ and waiting to strengthen her faith for over a year, she has started partnering with the Holy Spirit to bring intercessory prayers in tongues on YouTube. Her intention is to bring awareness and healing to all areas of our lives. We are intended to live from Heaven on earth, as God's will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. God is a Good Father that wants to see His children live well.
Praying in tongues is possible with the Holy Spirit. It is He who works in us to pray in words not known to the human soul (Romans 8:26-27). Anybody with the indwelling Spirit of the Lord can pray in tongues for their own edification (1 Corinthians 14:2-4), and there are some who are given the gift of speaking in tongues to edify the church (1 Corinthians 12:7-10).
All tongues are empowered by the Holy Spirit, but their use differs. The gift of tongues often functions in community or public ministry, while praying in tongues is a private spiritual exercise that deepens intimacy with God. Praying in tongues, or speaking in tongues as personal prayer, is a form of spiritual language prayer. Allow the Holy Spirit to pray on your behalf as He knows exactly what you need (Matthew 6:8) and is your holy Advocate (John 14:26). The goal of any prayer in tongues is the edification of self, of others, and glorifying God.
As always, remember that you don’t need to speak in tongues in order to be saved or to pray to God. Prayer is simply a conversation with your good Lord and Savior. If you want to speak in tongues, ask the Holy Spirit to give you the wisdom and guidance to get you started. But it is not required to have a loving relationship with God! Speak to Him in your natural language in courage, believing you have received what you asked for (Mark 11:24).

From 2008 until July of 2024, I was on the New Age-Spirituality train. I studied "personal growth" and "metaphysical" topics for years, even taking online courses and receiving a Bachelor's degree in Metaphysical Sciences. I studied Reiki and became a level-three Reiki Master where I used what I learned in energy healing to start a "light language" practice between April 2017 and July 2024. I self-published four books with a heart centered on these New Age practices in order to help others as I felt the information helped me on my journey. I also fell in love with positive affirmations and "zentangle" artwork, self-publishing over 20 coloring books since 2016. Since giving my life to Jesus, I still have a heart for positive affirmations, but now it is in a biblical sense, and not to inflate our ego in any way.
My life changed in July 2024....
Before I get into July of 2024, I want to back up and mention an important part of my story: I was in an abusive relationship with a narcissist from 2019-2023. It started off well with things I never understood before (love-bombing, masking, mirroring, etc.) but after signing a lease and moving in together right before the Covid lockdowns of 2020 I realized I made a mistake I could not get out of. Over the next few years it was a rollercoaster ride of him getting injured, losing his job, financial IOUs, and promises to change before the lease renewal in March 2022 that would last until March 2023. By April of 2022 the multidimensional abuse and violence increased until I was able to leave in March of 2023 for good. I left behind 90% of my life, quit a good job I actually loved and worked hard for a promotion after the Covid years, and packed my little Hyundai Elantra with the essentials and my cat and drove over a 1000 miles away from him.
I found Jesus after a long journey of suffering and coming to terms with what I went through on my own between March 2023 and July 2024. My physical health was starting to fail as delayed onset illness started to manifest from years drenched in cortisol from the flight-or-fight survival mode I endured. Jesus called my name and I read the Bible for the first time, at 38 years old. Over the months since then I have repeatedly read and devoured the NASB, KJV, NIV and ESV versions of the Bible. My favorite is the NASB as it was the one I started with, but all versions have different ways to express the same information which is helpful when wrapping your mind and heart around the Word. I have a strong desire to share the Word with the world and teach others what I have learned along the Way.
I have a passion to share a lot about spiritual warfare, having spent 15 years in the New Age community and engaging in "energy" healing. I have dealt with a lot of spiritual warfare since giving my life to Jesus, as all believers end up experiencing. It is important to know the spiritual forces we are dealing with and remember the power Lord Jesus has given each and every Christian to fight back against the enemy's advances. With all the "conspiracy theories" I have learned about in the spirituality community, the only one that is important to acknowledge is the one about the battle for each and every one of our souls. I do not want to see people unknowingly choose to go to Hell by default.
I have also discovered true, permanent healing in a supernatural way through Jesus Christ. Physical issues have miraculously healed in my body. Mental and Emotional issues such as ADHD, CPTSD, anxiety, brain-fog, and more have all been healed by the power of Jesus on the cross. When you are saved you are healed and only believing that is how I became healed from many issues. I want to show people how to permanently change without personal effort through the power of the living God. God is our Jehovah Rapha, our Healer, in all aspects of life.
"LNL Awakening" is in my heart now to be a channel of faith-based content to bring as many people to the Love of Jesus Christ through His ultimate sacrifice on the cross to save us all from our sins, and set us free from the darkness of this world.
