What are Elementals?
Many define Elementals as "a supernatural entity or force thought to be physically manifested by occult means" or as "a mythic being in the alchemical works of Paracelsus in the 16th century." Usually they are associated with the four elements; earth, fire, water and air. If you have read about Paracelsus and his definition the elements are called; gnomes, undines, sylphs, and salamanders.
On this site you will find my interpretation of the Elementals. I do not believe that they are "manifested by occult means" and I'm not sure about "gnomes, undines, sylphs and salamanders" or at least not how we have come to describe them nowadays. I do believe that Elementals exist now, though that is only a recent occurrence and I will tell you why later in this sight.
For now though I just want you to understand that I believe Elementals are not here to hurt anyone, nor are they of the "occult" especially if that word is thought of with any kind of negative association. I do believe they will show themselves to you in a form that is most comfortable to you; usually in the form of faces or animals. I believe that to see them you either have to be very much in touch with the Earth, usually referred to as Gaia or Mother Gaia, or you have to be more aware of what is around you than most. This awareness is generally something we are all born with and then soon forget, in adults it is usually termed "Awakening" or "Psychic" (though these two terms do not always go hand in hand) and have expanded your consciousness beyond what you see in the day to day world.
As of right now I do not know their names though, so for now I will use the names that Paracelsus coined, I'm hoping that as I get to know they I will learn their names. I'm also hoping that I will gain the ability to hear and speak with them too, but until then I can only speculate what it is they are trying to tell me. My guess is that they appeared to me to help show me something beyond what I once knew in order to help open me up to new possibilities; if that is true then they have done a great job so far and I am hoping to share that with all of you!
