REPOSTED FROM THE TRANS-SCEND BLOG 2015 Who are we, if not the visual representation of our bodies? Are we not what walks down the street wearing our face, our hair, our hands, our feet and everything in-between? What defines who we are and what we are as well as what we see in the pictures that are taken of us? For some of us though, our bodies are what have betrayed who we feel we are inside. They do not fit, like trying on your fathers' shoes as a child. They are ill fitting but we are constantly told that what we see in the picture, staring back at us in the mirror is us. How do we convince a society of people that do feel comfortable in their bodies that it isn't us?

REPOSTED FROM CRT 2013 Judgement is like a mirror of attachments. It is actually what will tell you a lot about what you are attached to or how you think/feel about yourself. If you look at the world as a mirror where everyone else just has a different face, it can really help you dig deep down inside yourself. I know it sounds odd, we are so used to pointing out the flaws of everyone outside of ourselves that isn't until you actually realize that everyone out there is really a part of you that what you are doing is pointing out the things that you don't like about yourself. REPOSTED FROM CRT 2013 Time is a trip killer. Well okay, it didn't exactly kill the trip but it did kill any kind of good time we may have had. Not that the time element was the only issue. Life-sucking vampire bugs (aka mosquitoes) were also an issue, but time, that one sideswiped us. It started with our trip to drop off a great dog to his new home. While we wouldn't change any of that it did sort of have us primed for doing things quickly. |
