My Dragon Rights My Wings

Thump thump thump, is it the beat of my heart
that I hear or the flap of a wing that draws near
I call to the great ones to surround me
and find them all around as I crash into the sea

They take me down through the waves
past the crust past the graves
I see the faces of the ones I once knew
when I was a Caller in the land of MU

I burst through the crust and plummet to the core
the great Second Sun opens up before me like a door
I find myself rising up so fast and so high
until I burst through the clouds and the blue of the sky

I am not on them but of them, a Caller they come
I am not on them but of them a Dragon as one
I have been guarded and watched over as I rose
and now they grant me the power through prose

To me come my guardians on the wing
for I am no longer searching for the king
I stand with you this time in this place
and understand that it is now all of us, together in grace
